Adult Classes

The Adult Religious Education (RE) program offers a wide variety of classes and activities for adults who would like to continue their lifelong learning and participate in ongoing enrichment opportunities. Adult RE classes range from understanding religion in contemporary society to experiencing different personal spiritual practices to conversational spanish and monthly film evenings.

Adult RE courses offered recently have included Building Your Own Theology, World Religions in the Context of Change, sessions in Meditation, Tai Chi and Journaling, as well as a weekly Minister's Colloquium and an online e-course about Practicing Spirituality in Daily Life. The Adult RE courses are led by the CUC ministerial staff or lay members of the congregation and there is no charge for most of the courses offered.

 

Current Schedule

To learn about the current schedule, please look for the Adult RE flyer mailed out in the Communitarian newsletter at the beginning of the fall and spring seasons. The schedule can also be found on the Adult RE Bulletin Board in the hallway leading down to the pod classrooms, and printed weekly in the Sunday Order of Service.
