Weekend Activities:
The training includes presentations, discussions, videos, exercises, and small group work. There are plenty of breaks scattered throughout the weekend. Congregation members and faith leaders of any faith, as well as non-congregation members, are all welcome.!

Our Goals:
• To navigate a shared analysis of racism and its individual, institutional, and cultural manifestations;
• To develop a shared understanding of the terminology and fundamental principles associated with racism and discrimination, creating a confident foundation for discussions with others; and
• To begin to apply this common understanding to the history, culture, and institutional structure of our society, and to envision the next steps in taking action.

Agenda Topics Include:
• The history of racism and resistance to racism in the Americas
• Defining racism
• The effects of racism on people of color and on white people
• The importance of not only understanding racism, but to accountably dismantle it in ourselves and our institutions.
• Claiming and shaping an anti-racist identity
