Welcome to Community Unitarian Universalist Congregation at white plains
We are a Welcoming Congregation, a “sanctuary without walls” that promotes diversity, fellowship, spiritual growth, and inspiration, while committing to people and the planet through social action and service.
Introducing our NEXT minister!
The CUUC Board of Trustees is delighted to announce that the Members of Community Unitarian Universalist Congregation at White Plains unanimously voted for Rev. Danielle Lindstrom to be our next settled minister. She will start with CUUC on August 1, 2024. Rev. Danielle will start with CUUC on August 1, 2024. We thank the Ministerial Search Committee for their excellent work in selecting Rev. Danielle. Until she joins us, we will continue to engage our awesome 2023-2024 interim ministry team – Rev. Kimberley Debus, Rev. Paul Langston-Daley, Rev. Deb Morra, and Rev. Patience Stoddard – for ministerial activities. If you have questions about Rev. Danielle, contact Creighton Cray or Terri Kung.

Day in Place
Day in Place, Sat May 4, CUUC Lower Parking Lot
Join the CUUC PlaceKeepers at our monthly “First Saturday Practice” to experience, appreciate, and care for the sanctuary that is CUUC’s outdoor grounds. You are invited to arrive early enough to see the sun’s rays arrive (about 6:30). At 10:00am, we share gratitude with the Haudenosaunee Thanksgiving Address. After, you may remain by the fire or help with suppressing some of the aggressive, non-native plants. Please bring loppers (if you have them), gardening gloves and dress and spray, knowing ticks live here too. Contact: Bice Wilson
Flower Service This Sun May 5
During our “Prepare to Bloom” worship service, we will join in a traditional flower ceremony. We invite you to bring a flower that will be shared during the ceremony. The flower should delight you – whether it’s store bought, grown in a hothouse, clipped from your garden, or snipped from a flowering tree. Please note that the ceremony will occur before our children go to their RE activities, and we hope they will be participating in the ceremony as well.
